Philadelphia, PA, October 29, 2018 – The Philadelphia Film Society is proud to announce the award winners for the 27th Philadelphia Film Festival, including an unprecedented tie for the coveted Audience Award for Teddy Pendergrass: If You Don’t Know Me and Green Book.

This year continued the Festival tradition of highlighting the best of film from around the world. “We are so glad that these two remarkable films resonated so much with our audience,” said J. Andrew Greenblatt, Executive Director. “We had no doubt that Teddy’s hometown would love the incredible documentary on his life and Green Book is a fantastic film with surprisingly timely themes.”
